P90X!!!!!
We are most likely starting on Sunday night (Scott, do you agree?)
It is high time that we get in shape. Seriously. 6 1/2 months post-partum, and I am ready to deal with the aftermath of this pregnancy. The scale may be down, but this body I'm left with is not the same one that I started with--you other mamas know what I mean!! The scale can be deceiving.
Now, I want to do the workout while maintaining my milk production, and the milk production takes priority, but I am hoping that John is old enough, and my supply is established enough, that we will be just fine.
Here we go. I have a feeling it's not going to be easy.
edit: I added a link to P90x above, for those of you--mom, and possibly, Mary Ann:)--who might not know what it is. and, by the way, we are borrowing the videos.

word to the wise...do not try to do too much of the arms/pushups on the first day. i couldn't lift my arm to scratch my face after I did that..not smart :)
Your feeling is right! Not easy! We kinda wish we had started with P90, but we didn't know it existed! It hurts, but we really like it, gives you that feeling that you've done something, so it keeps me motivated! We didn't want to burn out, though, so we're only doing it 4 days a week instead of the recommended 6. Good luck and have fun!
What in the sam hill is P90X?? I was so confused when I read that. Then I figured it must be a special workout based on what you said and what your 2 comments said. I've never heard of it. Awww. Poor Scott. unless this is part of that money contest he's in. Then, I know, he's motivated. MOM>
I am with Lindsay..we have these videos. i do only the yoga, plyometrics, and cardio. Rotating the 3..much more feminine aproach..i LOVE the plyometrics..and it all gets easier after the first 3 weeks. i recommend-3 days a week to start. Using the above videos. Then slowly add in trouble zones..Love ya..think about you often..
You'll have to let me know how it goes. I'm determined not to let it take 2 years to get my pre-baby body back this next time around!
BowenOwens, did yall get a pull up bar? If not, what did yall do for that part?
