First or third trimester?

I am feeling oddly first trimester pregnant rather than third trimester tonight.

I fell asleep for about 20 minutes of Ada's nap, and I woke up with that familiar first trimester nausea. In fact, the only thing I want for dinner is a Wendy's frosty. Truly, that is the only thing that sounds edible to me right now.

This pregnancy continues to surprise me with its twists and turns.

On another note--I need some reader feedback. With the due date around the corner, I can't help but start to think about non-maternity clothes. You know what I mean, right? Things that don't have an elastic waist band. So, I've been thinking, I have no clue what's "in" right now. Can you help me out? There are so many blogs out there--decorating on a budget, couponing, etc. etc., and I know there must be some fabulous reading on fashion on a budget. How can I find these things? I want some guidance as I begin to make over the wardrobe. For instance, obviously everyone is doing skinny jeans tucked into boots, but by the time I am to the other side of pregnancy, is this trend going to be on its way out? How do I know? I tried to do some searching today--looking for a list of must-haves in 2010. Readers, what do you think?

And, all you nursing mamas out there, what are options for nursing and dressing up? I have weddings this spring--what do you wear that allows you to nurse? Suggestions please.

lb, when are you coming to auburn? i feel like we could sit at big blue for about an hour and you could see what is "in" simply by all the college girls walking by. In saying that, I've been here for 10 months and I don't have much to show for it. Plus, I don't know if I'll ever (pregnant or not) be able to fit into skinny jeans (which pretty much excludes me from the boot over the jeans look.)Sigh.

I tried on some skinny jeans this weekend. Let me say...bad idea. Why i choose to do this after gaining 4 pounds over the holiday...I don't know! I'm sure there are some skinny jeans out there that must look good on girls with hips so let me know if you find some!

Also, by that last comment, i didn't mean that you have hips. I was talking about myself. And...really any girl who has gone through puberty :)

Anna--it all depends on when I can get an hair appointment. I called today, and the first opening is Feb. 3rd, but hopefully that is going to change. Anna take notes and let me know what I should be wearing. I feel so out of touch.

Amanda--I do have hips, so no worries, and a rear the size of two normal ones, so I don't think I can do skinny jeans either, but I do love the jeans in the boots look, sigh. What to do, what to do.

What about leggings and boots? I like that look, too, and you just wear a tunic type shirt over the leggings. In fact, lots of my dresses are too short to wear as dresses, so I either wear them over leggings/boots or over skinny jeans/boots (to hide the butt factor). Just an idea! Also, Adam hates the knee boots but he admitted he kinda likes the mid-calf boots recently...I'm on the hunt for a pair of those to wear now!!!!!!!!

Laura Beth I feel like I've already said this to you, but I think the jeans in boots thing is more doable than ya'll think. Buy bootcut jeans rather than skinny jeans. They aren't as skin tight as skinny jeans but they'll tuck into boots. if they're dark, I don't think they are that unflattering.
