Monday Morning

I have a little homesick feeling in my stomach--homesick for teaching, I mean.

It's another first day of the school year for so many people, and I can't help but wish, for just a moment, that I was joining in the fun (and stress) of the first day of school. But, alas, I have more important things that keep me at home--
this little girl, and the sibling who will join her in February.

Her hair is getting so long! I love it! How is baby M doing? Or the "deuce" should I say. Ha!

Oh, Laura Beth, the pictures are too cute. I can't get enough of looking at them. I also saw the ones of her at her "birthday party".

To be aunt and niece you and I are so different when it comes to the beginning of the school year. (Well, we're also slightly different in age.) But, anyway, whereas you are a bit homesick to be teaching, I love riding past the school in Evergreen where I used to be the receptionist, seeing the gathering cars of the teachers and others who are there getting ready for the school year, and being BEYOND GLAD that I'm not working there anymore. But such are the differences in people. And aren't we glad that everyone is not alike?

Please keep the pictures coming when you have time.

I can't believe how long her hair has gotten, and so curly. She is one beautiful girl. And I LOVE that photo of her looking back at the camera. She's just precious. Happy second birthday. Reagan's is this weekend. Can't believe our girls are just one year apart. Seems like you've been a mom WAY longer than me. Same for Jane. Time flies.
